Welcome to the Tortoise Evolution Tour! We are excited to take you on an adventure to explore the magnificent highlands of Santa Cruz and other beautiful islands. You will have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking beauty of the Enchanted Islands, immerse yourself in the local culture and traditions, and discover the wonders of the Galapagos Islands. The iconic tortoises that inhabit this place will fascinate you with their evolution and make this journey unforgettable and enriching.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Visit the HIGHLANDS of Santa Cruz, to enjoy the wonderful and very famous giant tortoises in their natural habitat.
- Go back in time while you go through the lava tunnels learning about their formation.
- Observe the density of vegetation in this forest, including orchids, daisies, and bromeliads.
- Learn about the habitat of several endemic land birds including Darwin’s finches, Galapagos Hawks, short-eared owls, Yellow Warblers, Galapagos Rails, Vermilion Flycatchers, and Paint-billed Crakes.
- Get to know the different species of tortoises of the other islands.
Lodging (Santa Cruz).
*We will visit The Charles Darwin Station only if we arrive before 3 pm at this site. The flight to the Galapagos Islands must arrive before 10 am, otherwise, we will visit the Charles Darwin Station on Day 4th.
